Top 10 MOST Successful SUPERHERO Movies

Top 10 MOST Successful SUPERHERO Movies

INTRODUCTION

welcome to top reviews of moveis  they're everywhere superheroes seem to  be taking over television Netflix and  even Hollywood with so many successful  comic book related movies lately it  raises the question which movies have  been most successful thus far well in  this installment we're going to cover  just that

spider-man 2

number 10 spider-man 2 the  second film from Sam Raimi's trilogy is  the first film to appear on our list  2004's  spider-man 2 brings back many stars that  made the first film such as Tobey  Maguire Kirsten Dunst and James Franco  with the introduction of Alfred Molina  as Spidey's arch-nemesis Doctor Octopus  the movie went on to get the highest  critical response out of all three films  from Raimi series as well as a pretty  good assortment of awards

spider-man

number 9  spider-man the 2002 introduction to Sam  Raimi's spider-man trilogy as well as  Tobey Maguire's portrayal of the main  character blue fans and critics away as  for the first time ever a film passed  the 100 million dollar mark in just a  single weekend it was the true  introduction to the modern-day superhero  movies that we have now delivering a  film possessing as much action as it had  heart you are amazing

Batman vs Superman

number 8 Batman vs Superman dawn of  Justice the follow-up sequel to the 2013  film Man of Steel Batman vs Superman  dawn of Justice takes place pretty much  immediately after the first film  directed by Zack Snyder and released in  2016 the film follows Batman as he  attempts to take on Superman and make  him pay for the damage he has done and  lives he has cost the film had a  worldwide opening of 422 and a half  million dollars making it the fourth  biggest opening to date though  financially successful the film was  ripped apart by critics with claims such  as Batman vs Superman dawn of Justice  smothers a potentially powerful story  and some of America's most iconic  superheroes in a grim whirlwind of  effects driven action

spider-man 3

number 7  spider-man 3 Sam Raimi's third and final  part of the spider-man trilogy he  directed  was good enough to do well at the box  office but all around received mixed  reviews most of which were negative  Tobey Maguire's days as spider-man came  to a close after this film before the  series would get a reboot under the  title amazing spider-man the film's  overall failure was mostly attributed to  the multiple storylines that tried to  keep as well as the miscast of a famous  villain venom

The Dark Knight

number 6 The Dark Knight  though Christopher Nolan's 2008 sequel  to Batman Begins would meet with a  multitude of success being one of 26  films today to sell 1 billion dollars at  the box office it isn't without its  tragic happening late actor Heath Ledger  was cast as Joker for the film which he  portrayed in a phenomenal whole new  creepy fashion why so serious  saying he viewed the Joker as a  psychopathic mass murdering  schizophrenic clown with zero empathy it  was during the filming of this movie  that Heath Ledger would die from acute  intoxication from prescription drugs

The Dark Knight Rises

number 5 The Dark Knight Rises the final  installment to Christopher Nolan's Dark  Knight trilogy which served as a reboot  to the franchise after the incredible  failure that was Batman and Robin was a  box-office smash though both the second  and final film broke 1 billion dollars  at the box office the most notable was  2012's The Dark Knight Rises

Captain America Civil War

number 4  Captain America Civil War as Star packed  as it was hero filled Captain America  Civil War feels more like an Avengers  movie than a Captain America film which  isn't a bad thing directed by brothers  Anthony and Joe Russo after positive  screenings for the prequel Captain  America the Winter Soldier massive  success followed the release of this  movie and as it sits it's the highest  grossing film of 2016 and the fourth  highest grossing superhero movie to date  nice job kid thanks

Iron Man 3

number 3 Iron Man 3  some actors have fit so perfectly as  their Marvel's Cinematic Universe  counterparts none more notable than  Robert Downey jr. --zz portrayal as Iron  Man  it seems the rest of the world agrees as  Iron Man 3 takes the spot of the third  most successful comic book movie ever  and the most successful solo hero film  to date though diehard fans always find  fault in movie adaptations the general  reception of this movie was  overwhelmingly positive the movie is  estimated to have profited Disney  Studios just short of 400 million  dollars  no hard feelings Point Break you got a  mean swing

Avengers age of  Ultron

number two Avengers age of  Ultron Avengers age of Ultron released  as the 2015 sequel to the 2012  blockbuster hit the Avengers both  written and directed by Joss Whedon you  know the man who brought us Firefly  dollhouse and Buffy the Vampire Slayer  the hero pact movie seemed not to  disappoint as fans would make sure it  became the 21st movie in history and 8th  Disney movie to break 1 billion dollars  in ticket sales

Marvel's The  Avengers

number 1 Marvel's The  Avengers the film first began  development in 2005 after Marvel Studios  received a generous loan from Merrill  Lynch but wouldn't premiere until April  11 2012 at the El Capitan Theatre in  Hollywood Joss Whedon's the Avengers  would obviously go on to achieve  record-breaking success including  numerous awards a handful of Records and  a multitude of critical acclaim if that  isn't enough it was the first ever  Marvel production to have ever generated  1 billion dollars in ticket sales all  right good job guys  hey everyone
